I Am Quite Hapless, Really

Hi. Are you a college student who suddenly found yourself hapless and had never appreciated a plunger before? Well join the club. I am one of you miserable people.

I am a college student studying in a college in Puchong while I myself live in KL. For the first year of college I lived at the hostel (or rather a private apartment with units rented by the college) and I learned a lot about depending on myself and occasionally, your housemates or roomates. Fortunately for me I did not experience any trauma in the likes of a roomate from hell. But I've heard a share of those myself, so I feel your pain.

Personally I am a fan of self-help books (if only you could take a look at my shelf!). The purpose of this blog is not to make your miserable life suddenly light up like a 1000 watt light bulb, but to tell you that you are not alone in your haplessness.

In addition to self-help instructions for domestic problems like pest control and a blocked toilet, to guides in finding an apartment and handling new semester traumas *grins*.

It should be clearly stated that the true purpose of this blog is to make your miserable lives less miserable. Or so, I would like to achieve. In addition, I shall occasionally feature blogs of other miserable college students, just to amuse you. Aren't I nice?

Furthermore, if you have any issues on college life (classroom gossiping aside) that you think may be useful to feature, do not be shy and let me know. One way or the other. Though the comment box may potentially be useful for such purposes.

However, it should be noted that I shall prioritize things that I have personally experienced. Don't believe me? Check out my old blog posts. I had to deal with ants making a trail in my room and ended up embarking on a holy war to tackle the problem and the terror of a blocked toilet in my room. I'm telling you, after the incident, I loved that plunger like I've never loved a plunger before!

Lastly, yes, I do happen to own a green ipod. His name is Marimo the Third, or Marimo III. You can just call him Marimo though.

This picture was taken before I even pulled him out of the box. Well, just so you know heh.

Well I just thought I'd clarify that.

Ta'ra!
